Route Description
This ride starts at Kakiat Park in Suffern and rides up 17 to LMR to Rt 106 in Harriman. Steep climbs. From Harriman continue on 106 until Call Hollow Road. Take Call Hollow Road to Rt 202 and back to Kakiat Park.

This ride is about 34 miles
Start at Kakiat Park on Route 202 in Suffern
On leaving the park, make a right onto Route 202
Take 202 to the end where it meets Franklin Turnpike/Orange Ave. – 1 mile
Make a right onto Orange Ave up through Hillburn to the Sterling Mine Road exit – 2.5 miles (Orange Ave turns into Rt 17)
Follow Sterling Mine Road which turns into Sloatsburg Road – 4 miles
After downhill, make right onto Long Meadow Road – 5.5 miles
At light, make right onto Rt 17A – 1 mile
Go straight over the Rt 17 overpass, into Harriman State Park – 1.5 miles
Once in Harriman State Park, you’ll be on Rt 106
Take Rt 106 for until you reach Lake Kanawauke circle – 5 miles
About 4 miles of Rt 106 is up hill, often steep, nice downhill toward Lake Kanawauke
At the circle, make the second right, continuing onto Rt 106 to Willow Grove Road - 3.5 miles
About half uphill and nice views of Lake Tiorati on either side of the road
Take Rt 106 straight into Willow Grove Road (steep downhill) until Call Hollow Road – 1.5 miles
(Trailer Park on the right – if you reach the Palisade Parkway entrances, you have gone too far)
Make right onto Call Hollow Road – 3 miles
Bear right until you reach Rt 202, make a right onto Rt 202
Take Rt 202 about 5 miles
Once you see the blinking yellow lights for the school, Kakiat Park will be on the right.
If you are riding with the club, bring your ride leader information with you and the cue sheet.
Your ride leader should provide this, but it is a good idea to be prepared just in case your ride is a drop ride and you are dropped!
