Mike and I rode out of David's a little after 8:00. This was a recovery ride for me, and Mike once again moderated his pace appropriately. We enjoyed a conversational pace over to Pearl River. We could have used one of the club's wildlife experts on Blauvelt Road when a mystery animal crossed in front of us. We decided it could have been a fox, but someone later told me that it could have been a young coyote.
On Rivervale Road we picked up the pace a little. That road just calls out for it. Coming into West Nyack Adam caught us. Having another club rider with us makes the ride that much more enjoyable.
We rolled back into David's with a little over 40 miles at the advertised pace. We enjoyed a few minutes of fellowship over chocolate milk before heading for home.
