Overcast skies seem to follow me around but the weatherman said no rain till the afternoon. So I rode over to the meeting spot and met Paul, Leticia and Judy. A photographer from the Journal News also showed up and took some photos. I hope he took my good side, Hollywood here I come!!
Actually he wanted to know the route and he rode ahead and took some photos as we rode on the road. Well half-way to Piermont my wheel started acting up and we discovered I had a broken 2 spokes and the tire was wobbly.
Thank goodness Kim was available and she came and drove me to Piermont Bike shop.Where Richard had me up and running in no time at all.
Time was getting tight so we decided to head back to Pearl River and took the Blauvelt Road hill. It's a doozy!!! We ended up with about 17 miles and 2 nice hills.
