As I rode over to the starting point by Dunkin Donuts on Middletown Road I was inspired by the beautiful weather to add an additional hill to our ride. I met Patrick, Leticia, Kim and Dave Z., we then rode south on Middletown Road into Jersey and enjoyed the clear crisp sunshine as we rounded the downhill by the reservoir.

We made a quick stop at the pier and watched the firemen test the pumper, something about a firetruck that makes everyone about 12 again.

We left Piermont and headed south onto Rt. 501, the roads were unusually quiet today, not many cars or bikes. It must be  vacation season.

As we headed back into Pearl River we went up the hill on Veterans Parkway by Blue Hill and then went down Gilbert Avenue, regrouped by the little store on the corner and up Orangeburg Road, it was such a beautiful day I had to add the extra hill.:)

We all stopped for coffee and (quilt-free) snacks.
    Thanks for riding with me.
Don't forget the meeting on Wednesday at 7pm.

    Lila
