The Two Bridges crew was made up of Mark, Fred, Shelly, Rafael and I headed out from Bear Mountain with the 100 mile B/C group. Lloyd did a great job leading us up 9W and on to 218.

Once we hit the big hill on 218 Shelly pulled ahead and it to the top first claiming the Polka Dot Jersey.  At the top I discovered her trick. She rode her big gear to the top since, she hasn’t mastered her gears yet.

Anne drove by to check on us when we turned off 218 onto 9W. She did a great job on SAG. She must have been watching the Tour, I felt like the Schleck brothers with her watching our backs.

Mark flatted while we were crossing the Newburgh Beacon Bridge and quickly changed his tire on the bridge.

We crossed the bridge and said our good byes to the Century riders and took a quick break for refreshments and headed down 9D.

We took it easy down 9D with a few stops to regroup and hydrate.

A great ride and made some new friends that will hopefully join us on our regular Sunday rides.

I also need to commend Lloyd, he set a good pace did a great job keeping the group together and checking that everyone was well hydrated and nourished.

I was wondering how Shelly pulled ahead of EVERYONE on the climb. Also, I think I saw Rafael come down the same hill and climb right back up. I envy all climbers.

Also, Fred was a stud hang'n with our line until past the 1st bridge.

We had a fantastic time riding with your team!
