Steve, Mike and I met at Toga to do the 40 mile GWB route. The weather was raw, but we layered up and hit the roads with the wind at our backs down River Road to 9W. We regrouped at the top of the climbs and kept a tight paceline all the way to Ft. Lee. We took a quick bathroom break at the bike shop and headed back on 9W. The headwinds on the way back were brutal, but thankfully Steve did the lion's share of pulling despite the fact that he was "a pint low" after having given blood on Friday. By the last climb my legs were exhausted, and the Toga Bike Shop sign was a welcome sight.
