You don't want to miss this one. Here are the details:
Invited Guest: RBC members and their family. RSVP via email if possible. I just want to get an idea as to the number of folks attending.
Location: 16 Herald Court, Valley Cottage
Date/Time: July 17th 5pm until …..
Directions: From Toga, take 9W south and make a right turn at the first light (Christian Herald). Go up the hill, around the bend and make right onto Herald Court. Our house is at the end of the Cul-de-Sac.
Rain: Lets hope for hot, dry weather, otherwise is will be on Sunday; 7/18
Parking: I live on a Cul-de-Sac and not much parking. If you park your vehicle head first, we can fit more cars.
Food: I will provide food and drink. However, feel free to bring something to throw on the grill, side dishes, desserts or whatever is your specialty. That would be appreciated and helpful. Please email (cabrera@optonline.net) or post if you plan on bringing something.
Rides: Someone can post a ride that starts/ends at Herald Court. Just note that you will have to climb a nice hill to get to my house.
Swimming Pool: For the weenies who do not like cool water, I’ll heat it up (maybe we can get a game of volleyball going). Can’t promise what the temperature will be (its currently 85), but I’ll start heating it the day before. If you plan on taking a dip, please bring a towel. Also, if you have little ones or adults that do not know how to swim, please bring a floatation device. I have some, but they may not suit your needs.
Let’s have a good time.

Hey John - as I just told you earlier at the Lake, I won't be able to make the barbeque on the 17th. And I know you were having problems posting.
So here's a shout out to EVERYONE ELSE! John needs to know how many people he should expect at the BBQ. He hasn't received any emails from anyone nor has anyone posted here that they are coming.
So....please reply to this post if you are coming or not. And if so how many people you are bringing. And also what you plan to bring.
It would be terrible if he planned for the masses and no one showed up...or didn't expect anyone and lots did.
So please reply here ASAP! Thanks guys! _________________ Maria |

I'm sorry I haven't chimed in till now, John.
I'll be there, and I'll bring some vegetable side dish kind of thang, and maybe some other snacky thang, not certain yet just what they'll be.
Thanks for the great invitation to us all. We'll hoot and holler and hang out with our fun pals! Let's hear from the rest of you.
Thanks for rallying the gang, Maria. |

I will most certainly be there with veggie burgers and a Watermelon and smiles.
Can't wait! IT's a beautiful saltwater pool!

I think I got hydration covered - Water - Soda - Lemonade - Juice - Beer - Sangria.
Not Hydration, but I got plates, utensils and cups covered.
I'll be picking up the protein (meats), carbs (bread) and vegeys on Sat morning so that it will be nice and fresh. |

Woohooo - Party time for us. Guess you didn't have to worry about heating the pool, JC - so glad mother nature let you save the watts. Let us know if you need a few bags of ice to throw in the pond!
See you all in a few hours. |
