It's easy to get to across the Bear Mountain bridge. This 43.5 mile loop at a b+ pace includes five real climbs and other rollers.

Cancelled due to predicted heavy rainOur always-popular North County Trailway ride returns with a running on the 5th of July. This is a great, paved, mostly flat, rail-to-trail path for a total of around 40 miles.

Similar rides have averaged between 13mph and 18mph, depending on how crowded the trailway is. We ride as a group until the trail stops crossing the roadway, and then the pack tends to break into different speeds, with all meeting for lunch at the end of the trail. Bring money for snacks at the bagel store, bring a cell phone!

Join Lloyd, John and Phil for a nice lung-busting workout at Bear Mountain State Park! We will do 3-4 repeat climbs up the EXTREMELY steep Seven Lakes Parkway/Perkins Memorial Drive route. You need to be fit for this ride please. This means that your legs, lungs and heart can handle a B+ level ride. 2-12 mph uphill. 2-44.3 mph downhill.
